It was incredibly disappointing that Lionsgate Studios didn’t decide to screen the biggest film of the past 4 months in my city, Fresno, California.

Suzanne Collins’ best selling novels have swept the country of their feet in the past three weeks with the release of the first of a series of three films, entitled The Hunger Games.

Without detailing and articulating my opinions and views of the film, I’ll just say that it’s an impressive, tense, and unique picture – constructing a dystopian society unlike any I’ve seen on screen.

The good man Brian J. Roan of Dear Film allowed myself and the talented Andrew Crump of A Constant Visual Feast, to partake in a debating the film.

If time permits, listen to the hour long discussion below. The Truman Shows meets Darwinism.

This movie can only be compared to two rhinos getting it on.

Yes Nate, that makes a lot sense.
