Suspect an immensely slow week folks. I have to take the SAT this upcoming Saturday. After that, we’re home clear.
Lets get to our weekly articles …
Upset The Artist won best picture? Ryan gives 5 reasons why it shouldn’t of won.
The movie pitches have begun. Julian gives his dark, dark tale.
Focus Features turned 10 last week – some great performances and films – Colin covers it all.
Looking back Friday is a nifty feature I’ve contributed to over at Front Room Cinema. This week Tom reviews Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights.
Public Transportation Snob gives a favorable review to Bennet Miller’s Moneyball.
Is Taxi Driver Martin Scorsese’s greatest cinematic achievement? Who knows. But there’s a scene that’s worth taking about.
I never got to see Carnage. Once it gets a proper DVD release I’ll be sure to check it out. Buckle enjoyed it.
Lastly, Matt Singer has started a new blog over at IndieWire entitled CriticWire. Give him and the feature some support where they aim to showcase the most interesting cinematic writings on the web.
Have a nice Monday everyone.
