After a tiring week, I’ve noticed one thing in particular: the amount of film I’ve consumed this month is depressing. With the month ending in about 6 days, I suspect I won’t even be hitting the 25 mark.
Anyways, lets get to those articles:
Andy rattles off his 40 favorite filmmakers this week – quite a list.
The Velvet Cafe writes about a word the site will never produced: masterpiece.
Tyler celebrates one year of Ingmar Bergman. A director who he’s come to love perhaps more so than anyone else.
Big Thoughts From A Small Mind continues to matchup actors and actresses. This week, we discuss Sigourney Weaver vs. Jodie Foster.
Franz Patrick falls head over heels for the movie that made over 150 million dollars this past weekend, The Hunger Games.
By this point who doesn’t have respect for Clint Eastwood? Well, John shows the 5 scenes that made him an Eastwood fan for life.
Dan Heaton has embarked on an Once Upon A Time marathon … which I applaud.
Early screenings have their downsides. so Ryan expressed last week.
Lastly, I’m loving the reoccurring feature over at Can’t Stop The Movies where they discuss one Stanley Kubrick every week: this time around it’s A Clockwork Orange.
