Before I begin, I’d like to applaud the excellency of the second ever Comedy Awards presented on the Comedy Central network. It was relatively short, consistently humorous, and had a plethora of entertaining hosts with enjoyable material. But the man I look to here is Don Rickles, who was given the Johnny Carson award. Rickles gave the most heartfelt, sincere, touching, loving, and beautiful speech I’ve heard on an awards show or really, any other platform. I look forward to tuning in next year.
