Before we begin I’d like to thank all of those who contributed to the Representing Humanity blogathon this past weekend. For those who still want to participate, I’m still taking submissions.

I know that television is not a topic of discussion here at Duke & The Movies, but I have four programs I’d like to shine a light on.

Girls : Four young women enter the terrifying stage of … adulthood.

Louie : A blend of dark comedy, family values, and philosophy.

Veep : Elaine is back. And with a biting, satirical vengeance as Vice president of the United States of America.

The New Girl : Zooey Deschanel leads a cast of talented actors that understands warmth and comedy.

Now for our weekly articles

A nifty little site I’ve found is called Counting Down The Hours … this week they review Dark Shadows.

If only Fresno, California would receive more independent films, I’d be able to see Begin Flynn. Aaron reviews.

My blogathon began Friday. Over 15 people contributed and favorite post came from my buddy Alex Withrow.

For Your Consideration The Matinee. Yes.

I saw Contraband …but I don’t remembering seeing Contraband. Nick discusses the film’s screenwriting.

In lieu of Ruth’s 9th wedding anniversary is celebrated by a post of her 9 favorite movie husbands.

Congratulations to Max of Impassioned Cinema who recently hit 100,000 page views.

The Droid You’re Looking For asks some natural, interesting questions about the your film going experiences.

Have a nice Monday. Thank you for reading.

I love watching Girls and Veep. Last night’s Veep episode was hilarious.

    My many thanks, sir!

I don’t watch a lot of TV but I have gotta see “Veep.” Might even be worth splurging for HBO. I hear nothing but good things.
