A busy week lays ahead – both in the world of film and academia. School is nearing its natural conclusion, screenings are aplenty, and as naturally I have some personal endeavors that need attention.

No matter, I give you my weekly favorite articles :

Andrew Crump reviews perhaps the best television show on the air right now, the HBO program Girls.

Emilio Esteves may have starred in something of value again in The Way. Andy reviews.

Danny from Can’t Stop The Movies considers getting a vasectomy after watching What To Expect When You’re Expecting.

The Great Debate: Home vs. Theatre cinematic going experience thank you Fogs.

Front Room Cinema, an invaluable website, finally gets around to checking out The Raid: Redemption.

If one seeks personal writing, go no further than the Kid In The Front Row. This week he talks about these shiny devices.

In lieu of my Bergman and Fellini matchup, I present to you a review of Scenes From A Marriage.

Split Reel is on hiatus. But check out the new blog design.

Have a good week everyone.

Cheers, Sam– linkage appreciated as always. And I agree, Girls could well be the best show out there right now, though there’s plenty of programming to give it a run for its money.
